HASB's capacity
in steel and aluminium fabrication enables them
to deliver rugged, reliable work
boats.
HASB can custom
build specialised craft for multipurpose fishing
boats, barges, dive boats, ferries, excursion
boats, high speed catamarans, charter yachts,
research vessels, pilot and patrol boats and
tugboats.
From start to
finish in their Harwood Island boat yard, all
work is personally supervised by Greg Brown,
Master Boat Builder.
48 meter
"Cargo Cat" Roro catamaran/ferry
The 48 meter
"Cargo Cat" Roro catamaran/ferry, built to carry
trucks between ports in Holland, was launched in
June 2002 and transported by heavy lift ship to
the Netherlands. Capacity 2500 tonnes, boat
speed 15 knots, 4 x 365 hp Doitz engines. Built
to Lloyds specifications and standards to a very
strict deadline - completed in 7
months.
